My 2 transactions didn't go as smoothly as I wanted because I had a really rude cashier. Unfortunately, the cashiers I normally do my transactions with were not working.
My first transaction only cost me $0.50.

-2 Colgate 6 oz. toothpastes x $3.99 each = $7.98
-1 Xtra Detergent x $1.99 each = $1.99
-2 Listerine Pocketpacks x $2.99 each = $5.98
-5 King size Twix candies x $1.59 = $7.95
-1 Carmex Lipgloss x $0.99 each = $0.99
-1 Renpure hair product x $4.99 each = $4.99
-4 Reese's Peanut Butter Candies x $0.79 each = $3.16
-1 Excedrin 8 count x $0.99 each = $0.99
-1 Gillette Deodorant x $4.00 each = $4.00

Total Extra Care Bucks earned from this transaction: $45.03
I originally paid $1.58 but my total turned to $0.50 because the cashier messed up my transaction. I only got 1 Carmex lip gloss but he accidentally scanned it twice. I had to go back and have the extra charge voided. He refunded me $1.08 so I subtracted that from my first $1.58 total and my new total became $0.50.
My first transaction wasn't the only transaction where a mistake happened.
My second transaction cost $2.02.

-1 Herbal Essences Hydralicious Shampoo x $3.99 each = $3.99
-1 Herbal Essences None of Your Frizness Shampoo x $4.29 = $4.29
-1 Phillips Headphones x $6.99 each = $6.99
-1 LA Looks Hair Gel x $2.99 each = $2.99
-1 Box of Advil x $0.99 each = $0.99

The problem with my transaction is I didn't realize until after I got my receipt that the Herbal Essences None of Your Frizness shampoo was not part of the $3.99 sale. Only Herbal Essences Shampoo's that are part of the Hydralicious line are part of the $3.99.
I told the cashier I wanted to exchange the $4.29 Herbal Essences None of Your Frizness shampoo for the $3.99 Herbal Essences Hydralicious shampoo. The cashier then lifted his shoulders up, rolled his eyes, and growled like a dog! He acted like I was causing him a huge inconvenience!
Then he started to rant that for the next 2 weeks customers like me will come back and return the items that were on sale so that they can get back the full price back. I thought it was very unprofessional for him to make a comment like that to me.
All I wanted was to get the $3.99 shampoo and return the $4.29 shampoo. I think that's a very simple thing to do but apparently it's an excruciating task for the cashier I had.
While he ranted to me, instead of doing an exchange he returned the Herbal Essences None of Your Frizness shampoo and issued me back a refund in the form of a $4.69 Money Card which is basically a CVS Gift Card.
I was so shocked he would treat me so rudely that I didn't even bother buying the $3.99 Herbal Essences Hydralicious shampoo. Why should I give business to a person who treats customers rudely?
My experience at CVS that night wasn't exactly how I wanted to kick off my Thanksgiving but I am thankful that I was get most of what I wanted for under $3 even if I had to get stuck with a rude cashier.
